Glens Falls, NY - The Adirondack Thunder, proudly locally owned and operated, announced today that they have hired Nathan Gosline to join their front office in advance of the 2017-18 season as the Director of Corporate Sales.
Gosline, a Queensbury native, brings over a decade of sales and marketing experience in the sports industry to the Thunder. Gosline joins the Thunder from the Tampa Bay Rays organization, where he served as Director of Sales for both Rays Spring Training and the Charlotte Stone Crabs of the Florida State League. Gosline worked within the Rays organization for two seasons and oversaw all sponsorship sales for both entities.
Prior to joining the Rays organization, Gosline served as the Vice President of Corporate Partnerships with the Mississippi RiverKings of the Central Hockey League from 2008 - 2013. With the RiverKings, Gosline was responsible for managing the franchise’s corporate partnerships and expanding the team’s reach in the business community.
“We’re excited to add another local product to our front office staff for the 2017-18 season, our first as a locally owned and operated franchise,” Adirondack Thunder President Jeff Mead said. “Nate brings a wealth of experience to our team in selling corporate sponsorships, ticket packages and group tickets and we look forward to adding him into our group in the front office.”
Gosline also worked in the ECHL from 2002 – 2008 with the Florida Everblades, beginning as Group Sales Manager before he was promoted to Director of Sales in 2005. Gosline helped to lead the organization’s sales team to set franchise records for corporate sponsorship revenue for both the team and arena. Under Gosline’s direction, the Everblades won the Ticket Sales department of the year at the 2006 ECHL League Meetings.
“I’ve always had a passion for hockey and the Adirondack region and I’m thrilled to be able to return home for this opportunity,” Gosline said. “There are a lot of great things happening right now in Glens Falls and I want to be a part of our area’s growth. I’m confident that I can help the Thunder grow as a franchise and become one of the leading sales departments in the ECHL.”
Gosline is a graduate of both Queensbury High School and SUNY Adirondack.
The Thunder will hit the ice again in October as they kick off the 2017-18 ECHL season, their third as a member of the league. Season tickets are on sale now at $13 per ticket. Call 518-480-3355 x1 or visit ECHLThunder.com for more information.
