Glens Falls, NY – The Adirondack Thunder, proud ECHL affiliate of the Calgary Flames, announced today that they have signed forward Terrence Wallin to a standard player contract.
Wallin, 24, returns to Glens Falls for his second season of ECHL play after he joined the Thunder during the middle of their inaugural season in 2015-16. Wallin, who originally signed with the Thunder on February 11, 2016, appeared in 25 regular season games with Adirondack, where he collected 11 points (4-7-11), including a four-game point streak in late February. The Yardley, PA native also appeared in nine postseason games where he collected one assist, a helper on Gunnar Hughes’ overtime game winning goal in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Semi Finals at the Glens Falls Civic Center.
Before he signed with Adirondack, Wallin collected 23 points (12-11-23) in 33 games with the Peoria Rivermen of the SPHL. Prior to turning professional, Wallin skated for four seasons with the UMass-Lowell River Hawks of Hockey East. The 6-0 forward skated in 138 games of collegiate hockey, where he amassed 50 points (16-34-50). Wallin helped UMass-Lowell to a Frozen Four appearance in 2013.
