STOCKTON HEAT ASSIGN MITCHELL HEARD TO ADIRONDACK

Stockton, CA - The Stockton Heat announced today that they have assigned forward Mitchell Heard to the Adirondack Thunder.

Heard, 24, is second on the Thunder with 23 points (9-14-23) in 23 games played, placing him second on the team in all three categories.Heard, who also leads the Thunder with 71 penalty minutes, had five multi-point games with the Thunder, including a five-point night on December 26 against Manchester preceding his recall.

Heard played four games for the Stockton Heat since he was recalled back on December 27. The Bowmanville, ON native recorded his first AHL point of the season, an assist, on December 29 against Ontario.
