The Adirondack Thunder will hold the fourth and final Fan Forum, hosted by Team President Brian Petrovek, at Spot Coffee on Saturday in the late afternoon to discuss with our fans a variety of different topics and issues regarding Adirondack Thunder Hockey.
We believe we had a productive first two sessions with over 25 attendees and we're looking forward to the next Fan Forum on Saturday, January 23, at 11 AM at Spot Coffee. Once again, the Forum is open and free to all fans and if you come, we will buy the refreshments! For fans who are unable to make any of the four scheduled Fan Forums, please contact President Brian Petrovek at bpetrovek@echlthunder.com or by phone at 518-480-3355 x308 to schedule a time to meet with Brian.
Topics discussed at the first three fan forums included ticket pricing and value, in-game entertainment, concessions, brand visibility, presence in schools and more.
Fans and Thunder staff discussed the pricing of day-of-game tickets, as well as season tickets for the 2016-17 season and the popularity of the new mini-packs. We also discussed concessions, including creating ticket packages that include food and drink and prices of certain items.
In-Game entertainment was also discussed, with the need to make our music more fun, upbeat and modern. We also discussed changes we could make to in-game promotions, such as the T-Shirt toss. Through the help of our fans, we're planning to improve the T-Shirt toss to ensure more shirts get to more fans in the top rows or all seating sections.
We also discussed our presence in the local market as well as surrounding areas such as Saratoga Springs and Rutland. Our presence in local schools was another topic of conversation and we're aiming to expand our reach in that area.
