The Adirondack Thunder have added forwards Stefano Momesso and Mads Eller.
Momesso, 22, skated in seven games a season ago with the ECHL's Elmira Jackals, where he collected his first professional point, an assist, on November 14, 2014 against Evansville. The Kirkland, PQ native had his top season of junior hockey with the Smiths Falls Bears of the CCHL, where he amassed 72 points (26-46-72) over 62 games played. Momesso is the son of 710 game NHL veteran Sergio Momesso.
Eller, 20, skated his past two seasons in major junior hockey with the Edmonton Oil Kings of the WHL. Eller set career highs in assists (19) and points (27) during the 2014-15 season, where he appeared in 58 games. Eller also collected 12 points (3-9-12) in the 2014 WHL Playoffs as he helped lead Edmonton to the WHL championship. Eller added a goal in Edmonton's 4-3 victory over Val-d'Or Foreurs in the Memorial Cup semi-finals en route to an Oil Kings' championship. The Rodovre, Denmark native's brother, Lars, plays with the NHL's Montreal Canadiens.
