Glens Falls, NY – The Adirondack Flames announced today that they have signed goaltender Taran Kozun to an Amateur Try Out (ATO). The team has also released goaltender Clay Witt from his ATO.
This is the first American Hockey League stint for Kozun, 20, after a four year tenure with the Seattle Thunderbirds and Kamloops Blazers of the WHL. Kozun had previously attended development camp with the Washington Capitals in 2014.
Kozun posted a 33-19-8 record with Seattle in the 2014-15 season, with a .915 save percentage and a 2.41 goals against average.
