Glens Falls, NY - The Adirondack Flames announced today that have recalled goaltender Doug Carr from Colorado of the ECHL.
Carr, 25, appeared in two games with Adirondack and recorded a 0-1-0-0 record, a .925 save percentage, along with a 2.30 goals against average. Carr made his professional debut last season with the Abbotsford Heat of the AHL. In two games with Abbotsford, Carr turned aside 49 of the 52 shots he faced, for a 1.92 goals against average and a .925 save percentage. The UMass-Lowell product has appeared in 22 games this season with the Eagles, where he amassed a 9-9-0 record, a .888 save percentage and a 2.65 goals against average. Carr has stopped 50 of 53 shots, including a shutout, since he returned to Colorado from Adirondack in early February.
Carr was signed by the Adirondack Flames on an American Hockey League Standard Players’ Contract (SPC) before the season.
