GLENS FALLS – The Adirondack Thunder, proud ECHL affiliate of the New Jersey Devils and Utica Comets, have announced that the club has signed defenseman Jake Schultz to a standard player contract.
Schultz, 29, joins the Thunder ahead of tonight’s game against the Trois-Rivieres Lions after playing in seven games this season with the FPHL’s Watertown Wolves. Schultz has two goals and one assist and 40 penalty minutes this season.
The Rochester, New York native played 15 games with the Worcester Railers during the 2023-24 season and had one assist and 25 penalty minutes. In 63 total ECHL games with Greenville, Wheeling, Indy and Worcester, the 6-foot-3, 209-pound defenseman has five goals and three assists and 152 penalty minutes.
The Thunder return home tonight against Trois-Rivieres at 7:00 p.m. Fans can enjoy $4 Labatt Blue Light!
