GLENS FALLS, NY – The Adirondack Thunder, proud ECHL affiliate of the New Jersey Devils, announced today that they have signed goalie Devin Buffalo to a standard player contract.
Buffalo joins the Thunder after starting his rookie season in Greenville earlier this year. The 25-year-old goalie appeared in three games for the Swamp Rabbits, posting a 5.36 goals-against average and .823 save percentage.
Before playing professionally, the Wetaskiwin, Alberta native played four seasons at Dartmouth College in Hanover, NH. With the Big Green, Buffalo saw action in 62 games, collecting a 25-29-5 record while accumulating a 3.04 GAA and a .901 save percentage.
The Thunder are back in action for a pair of games this weekend starting tonight in Manchester to take on the Monarchs.
