GLENS FALLS, NY – The Adirondack Thunder, proud ECHL affiliate of the New Jersey Devils, announced today that it has received defenseman Kevin Lough on loan from the AHL’s Chicago Wolves.
Lough, 26, returns to Glens Falls after having appeared for the Thunder in each of the franchise’s first three seasons. Lough skated in 76 regular-season contests for Adirondack, accumulating 33 points (6g-27a), 41 PIM and a +6 rating.
The Kanata, ON native first signed with the Wolves on a try-out basis last December before parlaying that into a contract for the rest of the season. Lough stayed in Chicago this summer when he inked an American League deal. In 45 games for the Wolves, Lough registered 10 points (3g-7a), 17 PIM and a +3 rating.
Before playing professionally, Lough skated four seasons at Colgate University. While with the Raiders, the 5-foot-11 defenseman totaled 31 points (7g-24a) and 72 PIM in his 149-game collegiate career.
