Glens Falls, NY – The Adirondack Thunder, proud ECHL affiliate of the New Jersey Devils, announced today that it has signed forward Matt Salhany to a contract for the 2018-2019 season.
Salhany, 25, comes to the Thunder after spending last season splitting time between the Reading Royals and South Carolina Stingrays. The Warwick, RI native has skated in 28 games in his ECHL career, posting two goals and two assists.
Before turning to professional hockey, Salhany skated four years at the Unversity of Alabama-Huntsville. The six-foot forward compiled 43 points (17-26-43) over the course of his Chargers career, while captaining the team during his senior season.
