Glens Falls, NY – The Adirondack Thunder, proud ECHL affiliate of the New Jersey Devils, announced that defensemen Mathieu Brodeur and Colton White have rejoined the team from the AHL.
Brodeur, 27, was released from his PTO with the AHL’s Utica Comets earlier today. The 6-6 defenseman has skated in 15 total games in the AHL this season with Utica, Syracuse and Springfield and has amassed two helpers. Brodeur has also tallied 22 points (3-19-22) from 35 games with Adirondack and leads the team with 20 assists from 19 games during the 2018 portion of the season. The St-Eustache, QC native is approaching his 500th career professional game with 490 games played between the AHL and ECHL.
White, 20, was reassigned to Adirondack by the NHL’s New Jersey Devils from the AHL’s Binghamton Devils. White has amassed seven points (2-5-7) from 32 games with Binghamton during his first professional season. The 6-1 defenseman has also skated in eight ECHL games with Adirondack and has collected two goals and an assist. White was originally drafted by the New Jersey Devils in the fourth round of the 2015 NHL Entry Draft and amassed 93 points (21-72-93) in 256 games played with the OHL’s Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds, in addition to a +66 rating.
