Glens Falls, NY – The Adirondack Thunder, proud ECHL affiliate of the New Jersey Devils, have announced several roster moves. The NHL’s New Jersey Devils have reassigned defenseman Colton White from Adirondack to the AHL’s Binghamton Devils, while the NHL’s Tampa Bay Lightning have reassigned defenseman Matthew Spencer from Adirondack to the AHL’s Syracuse Crunch. Additionally, defenseman Nolan Kaiser and forward Tim Kielich have been released from their standard player contracts.
White, 20, has amassed seven points (2-5-7) from 32 games with Binghamton during his first professional season. The 6-1 defenseman has also skated in nine ECHL games with Adirondack and has collected two goals and two assists. Spencer, 20, has skated in 27 games with Syracuse to date and has amassed three points (1-2-3). The Guleph, ONT native has also collected a goal and an assist in ten games with Adirondack.
Kaiser, 25, and Kielich, 23, each made their 2017-18 ECHL debuts with the Thunder this week. Kaiser, who also appeared in three games with Adirondack last season, collected a goal in three appearances with the team this week. Kielich, who joined the Thunder from The College at Brockport, played in his first career professional game on Wednesday against Worcester and was scoreless in two games played overall.
