Syracuse, NY - The AHL's Syracuse Crunch have loaned forwards Ty Loney and Shane Conacher to the Adirondack Thunder.
Loney, 25, is currently tied for the Thunder lead with 32 points (18-14-32) this season, with his 18 goals tops on the Thunder. Loney ranks tied for second in the league with eight power-play goals and leads all Thunder players with 13 points (8-5-13) on the man advantage this season. The 6-4 winger skated in eight games with the AHL's Syracuse Crunch and collected his first career professional shootout goal on December 2 against Belleville. Loney has appeared in 68 career regular season AHL games with Norfolk, Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, Albany, Chicago and Syracuse, where he's netted 20 total points (6-14-20). The Pittsburgh, PA native also skated in eight Calder Cup Playoff contests with Chicago last season, where he amassed two goals and an assist.
Conacher, 23, has played in 32 games with the Thunder this season and has earned 37 points (9-28-37), which ranks second on the team in scoring. Conacher leads Adirondack with 28 assists which also ranks tied for ninth in the ECHL. The 5-11 winger has skated in six games this season in addition to ten total AHL games with the Toronto Marlies over the past two seasons. Last season, Conacher posted 11 points (2-9-11) in 25 games with the ECHL's Orlando Solar Bears.
