Glens Falls, NY – The NHL's New Jersey Devils have re-assigned goaltender Mackenzie Blackwood from the AHL's Binghamton Devils to the Adirondack Thunder.
Blackwood, 21, has appeared in 55 games throughout his AHL career, including 19 this season with the Binghamton Devils. The 6-4 netminder has a 4-10-0 record with Binghamton after he posted a 17-14-3 record with the AHL’s Albany Devils during the 2016-17 season, to go along with a 2.55 goals against average (G.A.A.) and a .907 save percentage (SV%). Blackwood also appeared in four Calder Cup Playoff contests in 2017 as he recorded a 2.13 G.A.A. and a .928 SV%. The Thunder Bay, ONT native was originally a second round draft pick by New Jersey in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft.
