Glens Falls, NY – The Adirondack Thunder, proud ECHL affiliate of the New Jersey Devils, announced today they have signed forward Justin MacDonald to a standard player contract.
MacDonald, 27, comes to Adirondack from the SPHL’s Evansville Thunderbolts, where he led all scorers with 12 goals and 24 points from 16 games played. MacDonald brings 78 games of ECHL experience to the Thunder as he’s skated with Evansville, Cincinnati and Indy from 2015-2017. The 6-1 forward has collected 41 points (19-22-41) over 84 career ECHL games, including a career-best 21 points (8-13-21) from 35 games during the 2015-16 season. The Newmarket, ONT native has appeared in 325 games throughout his professional career, spanning back to 2011.
The Thunder are back in action this week as they host the Worcester Railers on Wednesday and Friday evenings with puck drop slated for 7:00 p.m. for both games. Tickets are available for all December home game by calling 518-480-3355 x1.
