Glens Falls, NY – The Adirondack Thunder, proud ECHL affiliate of the New Jersey Devils, announced today that forward Shane Conacher has been assigned to Adirondack from the AHL’s Syracuse Crunch.
Prior to the assignment, Adirondack acquired the ECHL rights to Conacher, 23, from the Orlando Solar Bears in exchange for future considerations. Conacher appeared in two games with Syracuse this season, in addition to 10 AHL games over the past two seasons with the Toronto Marlies, where he amassed two goals and an assist. The 5-11 forward also recorded 11 points (2-9-11) in 25 regular season games a season ago with Orlando, in addition to five points (1-4-5) from seven Kelly Cup Playoff contests.
The Thunder are back on the ice this weekend for a pair of games against the Toledo Walleye, on Friday and Saturday, kicking off at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are still available for the Thunder’s final two home games until late November.
