Glens Falls, NY – The Adirondack Thunder, proud ECHL affiliate of the New Jersey Devils, announced today that goaltender Drew Fielding has been signed to a standard player contract.
Fielding, 27, returns to the Thunder for his third season with the team. The 5-10 goaltender has appeared in 48 career ECHL games to date, including 38 with Adirondack. Fielding has amassed a 21-18-5 record throughout his ECHL career to go along with a .903 save percentage and a 2.88 goals against average. The Burlington, ONT native recorded a.914 save percentage during the 2015-16 season with the Thunder, as he appeared in 25 regular season games as well as one during the 2016 Kelly Cup Playoffs.
The Thunder are back on the ice this weekend for a pair of games against the Toledo Walleye, on Friday and Saturday, kicking off at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are still available for the Thunder’s final two home games until late November.
