Glens Falls, NY –The Adirondack Thunder, proud ECHL affiliate of the Calgary Flames, have clinched a 2017 Kelly Cup Playoff berth, becoming the first team in the North Division to do so.
Playoff ticket packages for 2016-17 and 2017-18 season ticket holders are on sale now. Fans can reserve their season ticket locations for all 2017 Kelly Cup Playoff action now by selecting either a pay in full option, which covers all possible home games, or a “pay-as-we-play” option, which requires only a credit card down up front. Fans would only be charged for games that the Thunder play on a round by round basis.
“After another outstanding regular season from our team, we’re thrilled to have the Kelly Cup Playoffs return to the Glens Falls Civic Center for the second straight season,” Adirondack Thunder President Brian Petrovek said. “Last season’s playoff run brought renewed excitement in playoff hockey in the region. Cail and our players are poised to pick up where they left off last spring and make a run for the Cup the talk of the town".
All 2016-17 season ticket holders get the first two games of the first round included with their season ticket package. All 2016-17 season ticket holders have until Saturday, April 8 to reserve their locations for Round 1 of the 2017 Playoffs or risk losing their seats when tickets go on sale to the general public.
Playoff opponents, schedules, ticket pricing and general public on-sale times will be announced at a later date.
The Thunder are back in action this weekend as they host the Elmira Jackals on Friday evening and the Norfolk Admirals on Saturday evening for Fan Appreciation Night at the Glens Falls Civic Center. Fans can now purchase the Final Four Pack to enjoy Thunder hockey in games that will determine playoff seeding.
