Glens Falls, NY – The Adirondack Thunder, proud ECHL affiliate of the Calgary Flames, announced today that they have signed forward Austin Orszulak to a standard player contract.
Orszulak, 24, recently completed a four-year career at American International College of the American Hockey Association, where he served as team captain during the 2016-17 season. The 5-9 forward collected 81 points (45-36-81) over 131 games played, with his 45 career goals ranking fifth in the program’s division one history. As a sophomore, Orszulak led his team with 22 goals and 35 points with both totals setting Yellow Jacket division one program records for goals and points in a season.
The Thunder are back in action with three games this weekend, including a home-and-home set tonight and tomorrow against the Manchester Monarchs, including a Saturday evening home game at the Glens Falls Civic Center.
