GLENS FALLS, NY – The Adirondack Thunder, proud ECHL affiliate of the New Jersey Devils, announced this afternoon that goaltender Devin Buffalo has been traded to the Reading Royals for future considerations.
Buffalo, 25, started five games for Adirondack while appearing in six contests overall, going 3-1-1 with a 3.12 goals-against average and .904 save percentage. The three wins marked the first professional victories of Buffalo’s career.
Prior to this season, Buffalo finished a four-year collegiate career at Dartmouth University in Hanover, NH. With the Big Green, the Wetaskiwin, AB native appeared in 62 career games, finishing with a 3.04 GAA and .901 save percentage.
The Thunder are on the road for another pair of games this weekend. Adirondack pays a visit to the DCU Center tonight to take on the Railers before heading to Portland to play the Maine Mariners tomorrow afternoon.
