Glens Falls, NY – The Adirondack Thunder, proud ECHL affiliate of the New Jersey Devils, announced today that it has signed forward Jakob Reichert to a standard player contract for the 2018-2019 season.
Reichert, 24, comes to the Thunder after skating four seasons in his collegiate career at Bowling Green State University in Ohio. The 6-foot-5 forward compiled 11 points (5-6-11) over the course of his 67 game career. Reichert was named to both the WCHA Scholar Athlete and WCHA All-Academic teams during his tenure with the Falcons.
Prior to playing NCAA Hockey, the Langley, BC native skated two seasons for the Langley Rivermen of the British Columbia Hockey League where he registered 86 points (34-52-86) and 199 PIM from 124 games played.
