Glens Falls, NY – The Adirondack Thunder, proud ECHL affiliate of the New Jersey Devils, announced today that they have signed defenseman Adam Larkin to an amateur tryout.
Larkin, 23, skated the previous four seasons at Yale University, where he netted 31 points (5-26-31) from 126 total games played and helped the Bulldogs to NCAA Tournament appearances in 2015 and 2016. The 6-0 defenseman had his strongest statistical season in 2016-17, as he led all Yale blueliners with three goals and 14 points. Prior to beginning his collegiate career, Larkin played two seasons of junior hockey, one apiece with the Kalamazoo Jr. K-Wings of the NAHL and the Muskegon Lumberjacks of the USHL.
The Thunder are back in action this weekend for three games, including home tilts on Friday and Saturday evenings at Cool Insuring Arena. Visit ECHLThunder.com or call 518-480-3355 x1 for tickets to all upcoming Thunder home games.
