Glens Falls, NY – The Adirondack Thunder, proud ECHL affiliate of the New Jersey Devils, have announced an updated promotional schedule for the month of February. The full February schedule is as follows:
Friday, February 16 – T-Shirt Giveaway & $1 Beer Night
Wednesday, February 21 - $10 Youth & Student Tickets
Saturday, February 24 – Military Appreciation Night & Youth Jersey Giveaway
Sunday, February 25 - $10 Youth & Student Tickets, Post-Game Autographs with the Thunder & Gunnar’s Birthday
The first of the Thunder’s four February home games falls on Friday, February 16, the first home game following a 17-day break at Cool Insuring Arena. February 16 will be a T-Shirt Giveaway, presented by Streamlined Graphics, for the first 2,500 fans through the doors. We’re also offering $1 beers on this night only – 12-oz Busch Light cans will be available on the main concourse while supplies last.
The Thunder are also home for one Saturday home game on February 24, our annual Military Appreciation Night. The Thunder will be wearing special, military appreciation jerseys which will be followed by a post-game jersey auction. All proceeds raised from the auction will benefit the Ben Osborn Fund, a charitable foundation located in Queensbury named after Cpl. Ben Osborn, who was tragically killed in Afghanistan in 2010. Saturday’s game will also be the annual Youth Jersey Giveaway, presented by Glens Falls Hospital, with the first 1,000 fans 14-and-under receiving a free youth jersey at the door.
All four Thunder home games fall on school vacation week and the Thunder are offering $10 youth and student tickets for the games on Wednesday, February 21 and Sunday, February 25 with a valid student ID. February 25 is also team autograph night, with the opportunity for all fans to meet the players in Heritage Hall following the game for pictures and autographs, as well as Gunnar’s Birthday, with mascots from other teams and organizations joining us to celebrate with Gunnar.
