Syracuse, NY – The Syracuse Crunch have recalled forward Shane Conacher from the Adirondack Thunder, Syracuse general manager Julien BriseBois announced today.
Conacher, 23, ranks tied for the Adirondack lead with 21 points (4-17-21) from 22 games played with the team this season. Conacher appeared in two games with Syracuse earlier this season, in addition to 10 AHL games over the past two seasons with the Toronto Marlies, where he amassed two goals and an assist. The 5-11 forward also recorded 11 points (2-9-11) in 25 regular season games a season ago with Orlando, in addition to five points (1-4-5) from seven Kelly Cup Playoff contests.
The Thunder are back in action this week as they host the Manchester Monarchs on Wednesday and the Worcester Railers on Saturday, with both game scheduled to start at 7:00 p.m. Visit ECHLThunder.com for more information on tickets to both games.
