BRIAN WARD SIGNS PTO WITH UTICA COMETS

Glens Falls, NY – The Adirondack Thunder, proud affiliate of the NHL's New Jersey Devils, announced today that forward Brian Ward has signed a professional try out with the AHL's Utica Comets.

Ward, 25, has collected 11 points (5-6-11) from 17 games with Adirondack this season. The Haverhill, MA native skated in 49 games with the Thunder during the 2016-17 season and recorded 49 points (27-22-49) and 65 penalty minutes, with his 27 goals leading the team. Ward has played in nine total AHL games, including eight last season with the Albany Devils where he collected one assist.
