THUNDER MAKE ROSTER MOVES

Glens Falls, NY - The Adirondack Thunder, proud ECHL affiliate of the New Jersey Devils, announced today that they have added forward Troy Bourke and defenseman Nick Trecapelli to the roster.

Bourke was assigned to the Thunder from the AHL’s Syracuse Crunch. The 5-10 winger has appeared in 207 AHL games throughout his professional career, including stops in Lake Erie, San Antonio and Syracuse. Bourke set professional career highs during the 2016-17 season as he appeared in 74 games with San Antonio and collected 24 points (9-15-24). The Edmonton, AB native has also appeared in 25 games (nine regular season, 16 playoff) at the ECHL level with the Fort Wayne Komets, where he scored at over a point-per-game pace with 27 points (12-15-27).

Trecapelli was acquired from the Brampton Beast in exchange for future considerations. The Guleph, ON native has skated professionally over the past two seasons, including seven games with the AHL’s Binghamton Senators in 2016. Trecapelli has also appeared in 43 ECHL games with Evansville, Wichita and Atlanta, where he amassed 15 points (5-10-15). Prior to beginning his professional career, the 6-2 blueliner skated for four seasons at the University of Guleph, where he amassed 65 points (12-53-65) in 101 games played.

The Thunder also announced that they have released Jack Ceglarski, Evan Neugold and Mark Petaccio from their try-out deals.

The Thunder will hit the ice again on October 14 for Opening Night as they kick off the 2017-18 ECHL season, their third as a member of the league, against the Brampton Beast. Get $15 tickets that include a hot dog and a soda for that game by visiting echlthunder.com/openingnight.
