Glens Falls, NY – The Adirondack Thunder, proud ECHL affiliate of the New Jersey Devils, announced today that they have signed forward Tim Harrison to a standard player contract.
Harrison, 23, comes to Adirondack to begin his first full professional season after he made his professional debut a season ago. Harrison appeared in four games with the Thunder last season and collected two assists and five penalty minutes, including his first career professional point and first professional fight on March 19 against the Atlanta Gladiators. The 6-3 winger also collected an assist on March 21 against Orlando to end his season on a two-game point streak.
The Duxbury, MA native joined the Thunder in March following a four-season career at Colgate University in ECAC, where he led the team in goals during his senior season. Harrison netted 53 points (26-27-53) throughout his collegiate career, with his 20 points (11-9-20) during the 2016-17 season placing second on the team in scoring. Harrison was originally a sixth-round draft pick (157th overall) of the Calgary Flames in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft.
The Thunder will hit the ice again in October as they kick off the 2017-18 ECHL season, their third as a member of the league. Season tickets are on sale now at $13 per ticket. Call 518-480-3355 x1 or visit ECHLThunder.com for more information.
