Glens Falls, NY – The Adirondack Thunder, proud ECHL affiliate of the Calgary Flames, have announced playoff giveaway items for their opening round series of the 2017 Kelly Cup Playoffs against the Manchester Monarchs.
The Thunder will give away red thunder sticks at Game Three, the first home playoff game this season at the Glens Falls Civic Center. The first 1,000 fans at Game 3, to be played on Tuesday, April 18, will receive a pair of thunder sticks.
Game Five will feature a T-Shirt giveaway, presented by Great Meadow Federal Credit Union. The first 2,500 fans at Saturday’s Game 5, to be played if necessary on Saturday, April 22, will receive a white, Thunder T-Shirt as we look to white out the GFCC.
The Thunder and Glens Falls Civic Center have also partnered to offer food and beer specials at Games Three, Four and Five, if necessary. Game Three on Tuesday will offer $6, 24-oz Budweiser Cans all game long, as well and two tacos for $4, presented by The Rock. Game Four on Thursday will have $2, 12-oz Bud Light draft beers until the end of the first period. Game Five on Saturday, if necessary, will continue the PBR Saturday special from the regular season with $3, 16-oz PBR cans available through the end of the first period.
The Thunder will also hold “Parties on the Plaza” for select playoff games, weather permitting. The outdoor event, located in the front parking lot of the Glens Falls Civic Center, will feature food, presented by US Foods, drinks, games, live entertainment and more on a game-by-game basis. More details about game-specific Parties on the Plaza will be announced closer to the event.
The Adirondack Thunder begin the 2017 Kelly Cup Playoffs this weekend with a pair of games at SNHU Arena against the Manchester Monarchs. The Thunder then return home to Upstate New York for, if necessary, five home playoff games, beginning with Game Three on Tuesday, April 18, at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are on sale now for Games 3 and 4 at the Glens Falls Civic Center Box Office from 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Individual game tickets start as low as $15 with all fees included. Fans can also purchase the “Playoff Four Pack”, with four ticket, four hot dogs and four sodas for $75.
