Glens Falls, NY – The Adirondack Thunder, proud ECHL affiliate of the Calgary Flames, announced today that they have added defenseman Christopher Dienes on an amateur tryout.
Dienes, 23, joins the Thunder after he spent the last four seasons at Western Michigan University. Dienes appeared in 127 career games with the Broncos, where he collected 41 points (11-30-41) on the blueline. The 6-3 defenseman led all Western Michigan blueliners in points during the 2014-15 and 2015-16 seasons, including a career high 17 points (3-14-17) during his sophomore season.
The Thunder are back in action this weekend with Friday and Saturday home games, beginning this evening against the Elmira Jackals.
