Glens Falls, NY – Goaltender Tom McCollum has been reassigned from the Calgary Flames from the Stockton Heat to the Adirondack Thunder.
McCollum, 27, appeared in three games with Adirondack over a five day span on loan from Stockton in early December. The 6-2 netminder recorded a 1-1-1 record, including his first Thunder win in a 5-1 victory on Friday against the Colorado Eagles. The Amherst, NY native amassed a 3.36 goals against average and a .875 save percentage in his time with the Thunder. McCollum has appeared in one AHL game this season with the Heat and has played in three NHL contests with the Detroit Red Wings throughout his professional career.
