Glens Falls, NY - The Adirondack Thunder, proud ECHL affiliate of the Calgary Flames, have acquired forward Nick Bligh from the South Carolina Stingrays, in exchange for future considerations.
Bligh, 23, is currently in his rookie season with South Carolina and has appeared in three games so far in 2016-17. Bligh made his professional debut on December 3 in Greenville as he recorded two shots on goal in the Stingrays’ 3-1 win over the Swamp Rabbits. Prior to beginning his professional career, Bligh skated four seasons at Dartmouth College, where he amassed 42 points (19-23-42) over 96 games played. Bligh’s 10 goals as a senior ranked tied for third on the Big Green.
