Stockton, Calif. – The Stockton Heat, proudly owned by the NHL’s Calgary Flames, announce that forward Mikkel Aagaard has been recalled by the club from the Adirondack Thunder of the ECHL.
Aagaard, 21, has played in 11 games for the Thunder during his first pro season in North America ranking tied for third on the team in points with 9. Should Aagaard suit up for the Heat, he’d be the first player ever to suit up for a Flames top affiliate from Denmark.
