KEEGAN KANZIG ASSIGNED TO ADIRONDACK

Stockton, Calif. – The Stockton Heat, proudly owned by the NHL’s Calgary Flames, announce the reassignment of rookie defenseman Keegan Kanzig to the club’s ECHL affiliate, the Adirondack Thunder.

Kanzig, 21, has skated in three games with the Thunder this season but has not appeared in an AHL game. The 6-7 defenseman played in three contests a season ago with the Heat, where he was held scoreless. Kanzig spent last season in the WHL with the Calgary Hitmen, where he collected 13 goals and 20 points in 53 regular season games.
