Stockton, Calif. – The Stockton Heat, proudly owned by the NHL’s Calgary Flames, announce that defenseman Keegan Kanzig has been recalled from the club’s ECHL affiliate, the Adirondack Thunder and will join the Heat.
Kanzig, 21, has played 9 games for the Thunder and picked up his first pro point, an assist, last week in Idaho. The 6’6” defenseman has also gone plus-2 with 14 shots and 20 penalty minutes.
