Stockton, Calif. – The Stockton Heat have announced that forward Brett Pollock has been reassigned to the team’s ECHL affiliate, the Adirondack Thunder.
Pollock, a 20-year-old prospect, is entering his first professional season in 2016-17. The winger played four years with the Edmonton Oil Kings of the Western Hockey League. The product of Sherwood Park, Alberta led the WHL’s Oil Kings in goals (30), assists (48) and points (78) during the 2015-16 season .Pollock, a 6’3” centre, was Dallas’ second round pick (45th overall) in the 2014 NHL Draft and was acquired by the Flames as a part of the Kris Russell trade in February 2016.
