APPLEBY AND BADDOCK ASSIGNED TO THUNDER

The New Jersey Devils have reassigned goaltender Ken Appleby and forward Brandon Baddock from the Albany Devils to the Adirondack Thunder.

Appleby, 21, spent 29 games in the 2015-16 season with the Thunder and led the team with a 17-9-1 record, a 2.24 goals against average and a .924 save percentage. The 6-4 netminder played in one AHL game this season with Albany, earning the win with 26 saves on 28 shots in a 3-2 win over Binghamton.

Baddock, 21, skated four seasons with the Edmonton Oil Kings of the WHL, where he netted 103 points (54-49-103) in 255 games played, including 22 goals last season, third most on the team. Baddock was originally a sixth round draft pick of the New Jersey Devils, 161st overall, in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft.
