ADIRONDACK THUNDER ANNOUNCE NEW YEARS EVE GAME DETAILS

Glens Falls, NY – The Adirondack Thunder, proud ECHL affiliate of the Calgary Flames, have announced the details surrounding their New Year’s Eve home game, presented by Nemer Ford, to be played on Thursday, December 31, at a special 5:30 p.m. start time.

The tradition of the New Year’s Eve game in Glens Falls is continued this season as the Thunder take on the Reading Royals. Fans can help us bring in 2016 with a special ticket offer, consisting of two tickets for $20.16, available at both the Thunder offices and the Civic Center box office. The Thunder will also present a post game fireworks display, run by Young Explosives Rochester, NY and the show will be bigger and more expansive than last year’s show with the Flames. The Thunder will also giveaway New Year’s Eve noisemakers and party hats and glasses to fans at the doors.

New to this year’s game is the post game party in Heritage Hall, run in partnership with the Downtown Collaborative and the Glens Falls Civic Center. The party will begin after the fireworks show and will run until the clock strikes midnight. The Collaborative has scheduled a Live DJ from 9:00 p.m. until midnight and the bars in Heritage Hall will remain open with drinks available all night.

The Thunder have also partnered with Nemer Ford, who are bringing along even more in-game entertainment for the 12/31 game. Nemer will add an additional T-Shirt toss during an intermission, with several of their shirts containing a $100 bill inside. Nemer is also sponsoring a photo booth, where fans can take pictures before, during and after the game in Heritage Hall.
