STOCKTON HEAT RECALL LOMBERG & SIMPSON

Stockton, Calif. – The Stockton Heat, proudly owned by the Calgary Flames, have announced that they have recalled goalie Kent Simpson along with forward Ryan Lomberg from the Adirondack Thunder of the ECHL. Goaltender Drew Fielding has also been resigned by Adirondack.

Simpson, 23, played two games for the Thunder during his assignment to the ECHL helping the team win both games he played in. The Edmonton, Alberta native stopped all but four of the 62 shots he faced en route to his first two victories in his first two games of the 2015-16 season.

Lomberg, 20, began his first season pro with the Thunder, scoring 4 goals and adding an assist in the five games he played for Adirondack. At the time of his recall, Lomberg ranked tied-third on the team in points with five and led the team in shots with 21.

Fielding, 25, made the Thunder out of training camp but did not appear in a game during his stint with the team. The 6'0" netminder is in his first professional season after a four-year career at the University of St. Thomas.
