THUNDER PARTNER WITH STEWARTS SHOPS ON STEWSDAYS PROMOTION

Glens Falls, NY - The Adirondack Thunder, proud ECHL affiliate of the Calgary Flames, announced today that they have partnered with Stewart’s Shops and Saratoga Eagle to create the “Stewsdays” promotion for seven Thunder home games during the 2015-16 regular season.

Stewart’s Shops (totaling 76 different locations) will display discount coupons at points of sale for Adirondack Thunder home games at the Glens Falls Civic Center. Customers will get $3.00 off their tickets to select home games during the 2015-16 season (coupon is valid for up to four tickets). The locations include all Stewart’s Shops in Saratoga, Washington and Warren Counties. To redeem a Stewsdays coupon, fans will need to redeem the coupon to the Glens Falls Civic Center box office.

The Thunder game dates are as follows:

Wednesday, October 28 vs. Orlando

Wednesday, November 25 vs. Elmira

Tuesday, December 29 vs. Greenville

Tuesday, January 12 vs. Norfolk

Tuesday, February 16 vs. Wheeling

Tuesday, March 22 vs. Kalamazoo

Tuesday, April 5 vs. Elmira

“Stewart’s Shops is committed to supporting our communities and this partnership allows us the ability to highlight hockey in Glens Falls while providing our customers some added savings,” Stewart’s Shops Spokesperson Maria D’Amelia said. “It’s a win-win.”

The Stewsdays promotion will run in two segments, with the first starting today, Monday, September 21 and ending on Sunday, November 22. The promotion will start up again on Monday, January 4 and conclude on Sunday, March 6. The Thunder will also run a ticket package with Stewart’s Shops later in the season and Stewart’s will have a presence at the Civic Center on a season-long basis.

“The exposure that will come from this promotion will be tremendous,” Adirondack Thunder President Brian Petrovek said. “We’re grateful to Stewart’s and Saratoga Eagle for collaborating on this program, providing another opportunity to grow the Thunder fan base and give more customers an opportunity to experience Thunder hockey live at the Glens Falls Civic Center at a great price.”

Full season, partial season, flex and group ticket plans are now available to renew or purchase for the Adirondack Thunder’s inaugural 2015-16 season, presented by Bud Light. The benefits of being a Thunder season ticket holder include a savings of 27 to 42 percent off box office pricing. All full season, 22 game and 12 game Thunder season ticket holders are entitled to unlimited unused ticket exchange, playoff ticket priority and the ability to buy tickets all season long at the discounted season ticket price.
