Glens Falls, NY - The Adirondack Thunder, proud ECHL affiliate of the Calgary Flames, announced today that they have signed forward Kyle Flanagan.

Flanagan, 26, joins the Thunder for his third season of professional hockey. His career includes 76 games played with the Adirondack Phantoms during 2013 and 2014. The left handed shooting forward joined the Phantoms for the end of the 2012-13 season, where he collected seven points (1-6-7) over 13 games played. Flanagan spent the 2013-14 season with the Phantoms as well, where he appeared in 63 games and recorded 22 points (6-16-22). Flanagan then spent last season with MODO in the Swedish Hockey League, where he collected 15 points (4-11-15) over 38 games played.

The Canton, NY native played his collegiate career with St. Lawrence University in ECAC, where he skated two seasons with fellow Thunder forward Gunnar Hughes. Flanagan put together a dynamic senior season in 2012-13, where he tied for a league’s best 32 assists and finished second in the league with 47 points. Flanagan ended his career with the Saints with 147 points (46-101-147) in 136 career games, which places him 11th all-time in scoring in St. Lawrence history.
