Glens Falls, NY - The Adirondack Thunder, proud ECHL affiliate of the Calgary Flames, announced today that they have agreed to terms with forward Dana Fraser.
Fraser, 25, joins the Thunder after five seasons of collegiate hockey in Canada, spent with the University of Prince Edward Island and the University of Brunswick. Fraser skated four seasons with the University of Prince Edward Island from 2010-2014, where he collected 68 points (24-42-68) over 95 games played. Fraser’s best season came as a junior, when he led the Panthers with 27 points (7-20-27) over 24 games played. Fraser recorded his career high in goals (10) in his senior season in 2013-14. Fraser then skated 12 games with the University of New Brunswick as a fifth year player, where he was over a point-per-game with 14 points (10-4-14).
Prior to his collegiate career, the native of Truro, NS skated three seasons of junior hockey with the Truro Bearcats of the MJAHL. Over 156 career games, Fraser finished second all-time on the Bearcats’ scoring list with 193 points (69-124-193). Fraser’s 1.24 points-per-game over his three year career with Truro is the most in team history for players with over 100 games played.
