Glens Falls, NY - The Adirondack Flames announced today that Six Flags Great Escape will be the presenting sponsor for their pre-season exhibition game on Saturday, Oct. 4 against the Utica Comets. Puck drop is slated for 7:00 p.m.
The partnership between the Adirondack Flames and Six Flags Great Escape unites two of the area’s premier entertainment companies.
The promotions and specials for the game will begin well before puck drop, with discounted ticket deals being offered at the Great Escape’s Oktoberfest, which runs this weekend, Saturday, Sep. 27 and Sunday, Sep. 28. Flames’ staff will be on-site at Oktoberfest, with discounted ticket specials available to purchase for the exhibition game to Oktoberfest park guests.
Six Flags Great Escape will be present at the Civic Center on Oct. 4 with ticket specials of their own for Fright Fest, which runs every Saturday and Sunday from Oct. 4 through Nov. 2. The theme park will give away 20 free kids passes to Fright Fest throughout the game, in addition to discounted admission coupons to all fans as they exit the Civic Center. Great Escape will have Fright Fest zombie characters in attendance throughout the game as well as an information table in the Civic Center’s lobby.
“We’re thrilled to be partnering with Great Escape, one of the region’s premier family entertainment destinations,” Adirondack Flames President Brian Petrovek said. “The theme park continues to be a world class brand in the community and our fans can look forward to Fright Fest promotions throughout the game.”
Group tickets for the home pre-season exhibition contest against the Comets are available now at just $7 for adults and $5 for youths under age 14. Individual tickets will be on sale starting Monday, Sep. 29 at the Glens Falls Civic Center’s box office. Tickets will be $10 for adults and $5 for youths. Box office hours are 10:00 a.m. through 6:00 p.m. from Monday through Friday and will run through the end of the first period on game days. Individual tickets for all 38 regular season games will be on sale on Wednesday, Oct. 1. Tickets can also be ordered for all 39 games by phone at 855-432-2849 or online at glensfallscc.com.
