Glens Falls, NY – The Adirondack Flames announced today their inaugural training camp schedule for the 2014-15 season.
The Flames will open camp on Monday, Sep. 29 with physicals for the AHL Camp invitees, in addition to full team meetings, before the first on-ice session on Tuesday, Sep. 30. The Flames will conduct on ice practices Tuesday, Wednesday, Oct. 1 and Thursday, Oct. 2 at the Glens Falls Civic Center. Team practices will be open to media as well as the general public, but all team meetings and video sessions will be closed door.
The Flames’ pre-season schedule opens on Friday, Oct. 3, as the team travels to Rome, N.Y. to take on the Utica Comets at the John F. Kennedy Arena, with the game set to face off at 7:00 p.m. The two teams will play again the following night at the Civic Center for the first official home game in Adirondack Flames team history. Puck drop is also set for 7:00 p.m. in the back end of the home-and-home.
Training camp concludes on Sunday, Oct. 5 with an on-ice skate in the morning. Following the final training camp skate, the Flames will begin full team practices. The team’s first official practice will be announced at a later date.
A full training camp roster will be available on Tuesday, Sep. 30. The Calgary Flames will assign players to Adirondack throughout their next week of training camp.
Group tickets for the home pre-season exhibition contest against the Comets are available now, at just $7 for adults and $5 for youths under age 14. Individual tickets will be available starting Monday, Sep. 29 at the Glens Falls Civic Center’s box office. Tickets will be $10 for adults and $5 for youths. Box office hours are 10:00 a.m. through 6:00 p.m. Individual tickets for all 38 regular season games will be on sale beginning Wednesday, Oct. 1.
