Who are the Adirondack Thunder?

The Adirondack Thunder are the proud ECHL affiliate of the Calgary Flames, now in their second season of play. The Flames moved their developmental team to the Glens Falls Civic Center for the Adirondack Thunders' 2015-16 inaugural season in the ECHL. The Thunder are members of the North Division, along with Elmira, Manchester, Reading, Brampton and Wheeling.

Do you offer birthday parties?

The Thunder are more than happy to host your party during any of our Wednesday and Sunday games. 

The Thunder Birthday Package (which includes a private pregame party in Heritage Hall) consists of: 
  • 10 tickets (Minimum) in a Silver section, with all party guests seated together
  • Name to appear on video screens
  • PA announcement 
  • Mascot visit 
  • Signed item by player or team
  • One "Chuck-A-Puck" for all kids
  • 10% merchandise discount for birthday child
  • Goodie Bag, with items to be determined by presenting sponsor
  • Pizza, Chips, Beverage and Cake
  • Price: $200 For 10 guests  – Additional members can be added at a prorated cost of $20 per person.
 
The Upgraded Package includes everything listed above, as well as:
 
A Locker room tour for the group or a Zamboni ride for the birthday child can be added for an additional $25. 
 
Price: $225 For 10 guests - Additional members can still be added at a prorated cost of $20 per person.

Where is the box office & What are the hours?

The Civic Center box office is located at 1 Civic Center Plaza, Glens Falls, New York, in the front of the Glens Falls Civic Center. Hours of operation are as follows: 
 
Monday - Friday: 10:00am - 6:00pm (All year round)
Saturday: 10:00am - 2:00pm 
Sunday: Closed

Are there any price differences for youth tickets?

Discounted prices are available for youths under 14, as tickets are just $13 before facility fee and sales tax, a savings of $4 off of regular adult admission.  Children younger than two years old may sit on their guardian’s lap and do not need a ticket to the game.

How do I get a press credential?

For information regarding press credentials, check our media request form, where you can fill out all of your information on our website, or contact Zach Dooley, Director, Communications & Community Relations by phone at 518-480-3355 x306, or by email at zdooley@echlthunder.com.

When do doors open?

Doors open 90 minutes prior to puck drop for season ticket holders and one hour prior for all other ticket holders. The main entrance, next to the box office, and the back entrance near the zamboni doors will be open for public admission, along with the entrance at Church Street. 

Where are the Thunder front offices located?

The Thunder team office is located inside the Glens Falls Civic Center on the Glen Street side of the building.

Where is guest services located?

Our Guest Services booth is located inside the main entrance of the Civic Center in the lobby area. Members of the Thunder staff will be on hand during the entire home game to offer their assistance to fans in attendance. 

How do I become a part of intermission entertainment?

How do I purchase Thunder merchandise?

Show your support for the Thunder by buying Adirondack Thunder Official merchandise! Thunder apparel is available through the Thunder Online Store here or at the Civic Center during all home games in the main lobby, in addition to Monday-Friday, 9-5.

How can I sing the National Anthem?

If you would like to sing the National Anthem at an Adirondack Thunder home game, please send a YouTube video or audio performance of your abilities, along with a list of dates and your knowledge of the American and Canadian National Anthems, or both, to Bryan Florkiewicz, Director, Game Operations at bflorkiewicz@echlthunder.com.
 
Any groups or schools looking to perform the national anthem should contact the Ticket Sales staff at 518-480-3355. 

How can I watch or listen to the games?

All 72 Adirondack Thunder contests can be found online, with both audio and video available.

For more information on live video streams of Thunder hockey, visit ECHL.TV for more information.

Audio of each game will be streamed to fans free of charge through our Flagship Radio Partners at Regional Radio Group. The games will be aired live on both Hits 95.9 and Talk 1450.  Visit Hits 95.9 for a free online stream. 

How do I get tickets to a home game?

The Adirondack Thunder offer a variety of ticket packages, ranging from individual games, to a full season ticket! About the Thunder

The Adirondack Thunder are the proud ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Calgary Flames and begin their 2016-17 season on October 22, 2016 at the Glens Falls Civic Center. The Thunder enter their second season of ECHL play, following an inaugural season that saw the team advance to the second round of the Kelly Cup Playoffs, the first time since 1994 that an Adirondack team won a playoff series.
